International Conference on Indian Academic Issues
Call for Papers
The Society of Indian Academics in America (SIAA) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1987 to encourage and promote professional activities of academicians from India working in the USA.
Members of the Conference Organizing Committee are happy to invite your participation and paper presentation related to any India-related academic area. We have preference for research studies on India issues, but all high-level research papers are welcome in any field of study.
This is a face-to-face conference; video presentations are not possible.

Participants are required to make their own travel and living arrangements to Newark.
Registration
- USA residents: $150 (before August 31, 2026)
- Indian residents: $50 (before August 31, 2026)
Registration includes two luncheons, one dinner on September 18, and two tea breaks on both conference days. Eminent speakers are invited for luncheon sessions.
Paper presenters will receive SIAA membership paid for 5 years ($150 value). Some discounted fees may be available to exceptional candidates — contact the Program Chair for specific requests.
Paper Format
Papers should follow the standard format (AMA or Chicago style) for presentation consideration. Video facilities will be available for presentations.
All presented papers will receive comments from the discussant(s). Special sessions on a particular topic are invited to be arranged by all Indian academicians. Special requests for presenting on a specific day of the conference may be considered but are not guaranteed.
